I am a historical ecologist and ecological anthropologist currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. My research centers on how humans adapt to their environments and how they interact with other species in their ecosystems. I have a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, an M.S. from the University of Utah, and a B.A. from Dickinson College.
