I am a Professor and Deputy Head of School in the Wits School of Education. I teach in the areas of learning, teaching and curriculum and mathematics education. I work in mathematics teacher development, to support teaching practices that promote classroom interaction and mathematical understanding. In particular my current research focus is on teachers’ learning through error analysis in professional learning communities. I am the lead researcher in the Data Informed Practice Improvement Project (Dipip) Phase 3.
