Rosa Elena Cardoza Silva

I have focused primarily on the study of secondary metabolism in filamentous fungi, especially in the synthesis of trichothecenes in different species of Trichoderma over the last 22 years. Since 2017, I´m currently a member of a multidisciplinary group of microbiologists and agronomists (GUIAS) that has been recognized as the Research Consolidated Unit number 264 by the Regional Goverment of “Castilla y Leon (Spain)”. I´m an author of 10 book chapters, 69 articles in SCI journals, 48 Q1 (average IF > 3.5) (WOS H-index: 30, Scopus H- index 32), 8 non-SCI journals articles, 3 patents [2 International (1 PCT, 1 European, 1 National]. I have supervised 4 Ph.D. Thesis, 3 Degrees (“Tesinas”) works and 4 TFG and 1 TFM. Author of 72 Congress communications (41 International and 31 national), and I reviewed 66 articles for 30 different SCI International Journals. I have participated in 8 research & development projects financed in public announcements and in 9 research & development contracts with companies, and I have a positive evaluation by ANECA for 2 six-year research periods.
Since 2023 I´m the professor responsible for different subjects of Microbiology which are taught in the Nursing and Podiatry degrees, respectively. Currently I´m a Permanent Labor Professor (June 2025).
